The Localiza rent a car FAQs section is an useful source for you to find out answers for questions about our service.
General Information
The rental day consists of 24 hours, starting from the date and time you pick up your car at the branch.
After opening the contract, the CRLV is available on the Customer Portal. Additionally, a physical copy of the document will be in the vehicle’s glove compartment.

It’s a public fee collected by the municipalities of Ubatuba (SP) and Bombinhas (SC). This fee is used for nature preservation and aims to minimize the impact caused by the increased flow of vehicles and visitors in these two cities.
This fee, charged to the contract holder, applies daily (per car) if you enter Ubatuba (SP) or Bombinhas (SC).
You can pay online (via the municipality’s website or app) or even through the Payment Tag.
In this case, Localiza is notified and passes the charge to the reservation holder, adding an administrative fee. The details of this process are available in the statement of tolls through the Payment Tag.
