Additional Driver

Yes! The Additional Driver add-on allows you to share the driving of your car with other qualified drivers — for R$19.95 per day for each driver. This way, you extend protection coverages and insurance (if you have purchased any) to other drivers.

However, if you want to add more than one additional driver, we recommend the Unlimited Additional Driver add-on, where you pay a single fee of R$21.95 per day.

To add these services, simply include them in your reservation manually or speak with our team at the time of pickup.

Yes. After opening the contract, you can purchase the Additional Driver add-on individually by contacting our Customer Service at the following number: 0800 979 2020

Currently, this product is available for:

  • Individuals with daily or monthly rentals made directly with Localiza;
  • Individuals or companies with daily rentals made through travel agencies or insurance companies.

Yes. If your contract includes the Additional Driver add-on, you can choose an end date for its use by contacting our Customer Service at the following number: 0800 979 2020

However, if your contract includes the Unlimited Additional Driver add-on, it is not possible to remove any of the drivers indicated at the time of opening.

Yes. If you need to add more drivers, we charge a separate fee for each Additional Driver or a single fee for the Unlimited Additional Driver. To do this, simply contact our Customer Service at the following number: 0800 979 2020

The contract holder can request to designate the offending driver. To do this, you need to send the completed and signed Drivers Report to the email multa@localiza.com, along with a copy of the driver’s license (CNH) of the person you’d like to designate.

Reminder: the submission must be made within the original deadline, which is specified in the email sent at the time of rental. If this deadline is missed, Localiza will designate the contract holder as the party responsible.
