Requirements and payment methods
• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Have a driver’s license for at least 2 years.
• Credit or debit card issued by banks for the payment of your reservation. We do not accept cash.
• Credit card (Visa, Master or Amex) nominal to block as a guarantee.
Yes, a nominal credit card issued by a bank is required. In this way, the blocking is carried out as a
guarantee of the rent. Rent payment may be made by any means other than cash.
No. Localiza does not have online payments or account deposits. At the locations, payment is made by email
or by telephone with the reservation center or at the time of pick-up of the car.
The pre-authorization is a limit block on your credit card. The total amount that will be blocked will be
the value in effect at the time of the opening of your contract and varies according to the selected
category.

At the closing of your rental contract, the amount blocked at the opening will be unblocked. The release
of the blocked value will be sent to the bank issuing your card, however, the deadline for the return of
this value to the limit of your card depends on each bank.
Credit cards are only accepted for pre-authorization.
