Theft of the rental car
If your rental car is stolen, tell us immediately and go to the closest police station to file a police report. You must show us the police report (Denuncia) within a deadline of 48 hours after the event and fill out an Accident Report at one of our locations.
If your rental car is stolen, you must return us the keys and documents. You will also be required to pay for a tank of fuel based on our rate table.
We do not give you a replacement rental car in these cases.
Accidents involving the car
If you're involved in or witness an accident, call 112 from any telephone – you can use a cell phone or a pay phone. You should precisely describe the location of the accident, the vehicles involved and the traffic conditions in the area. Inform us immediately and show us the police report (Denuncia) within a deadline of 48 hours.
We do not give you a replacement rental car if your rental car has been involved in a fire, collision, improper taking, seizure by authorities with jurisdiction, loss, theft of keys or documents or has broken down due to inappropriate use.
If your rental car has broken down due to a mechanical or electrical problem that arises from normal use, we will provide you a replacement rental car for no additional charge.
